I want this book to be the very best it can be. I want to reach mothers across demographics. I want to send this book out into the world in the hopes that it will find its way into your hands — you, the mom in or thinking about going to college. While the book is nearly finished and ready to send off to my publisher, I can’t help but be scared to death over sending it.
One way I thought I could ease my anxiety was to ask you what you want. So, if you were walking through an actual book store (or searching on Amazon) for a college success book that speaks to the “mom in college” audience, what chapters would you hope to find in the table of contents? This can be based on a retrospective opinion because you already finished college OR you can be a mom who is considering the experience. Wherever you fall in that range of experience, please help me help other moms!
Please feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments below! And keep an eye out for “College Success for Moms,” coming soon!
Dont believe the lies that you tell yourslef. Meaning self doubt. Our biggest distracter when doing anything new is ourselves. A chapter on saying yes I can verses no I can’t I feel would be very uplifting.
Thank you so much for the input Gini! I do, in fact, have that chapter and I am glad it will hopefully help. Self doubt is such a huge issue! The first chapter is called “Believe You Can”
